EPIC knives are essentially knives that are good for practically any purpose. They are knives that usually blend together the usefulness of EDC utility knives, strength and performance of tactical self defense knives, as well as an overall "epic" look and feel to the knife itself. ------------------ The Ontario Rat Model 1 is without a doubt, an epic knife. If somebody handed me the knife and told me it cost them 0, I'd believe them if I didn't know better. It gives me that feeling. It is one of the most comfortable knives I have ever held in my hand, second only to the Benchmade Bedlam's handle (second only by a small margin...and I don't have the Bedlam, so I haven't had that much time to play with it...). It's a knife that effectively blends every quality you'd want in a good "everything" knife: strength, comfort, good steel, affordability, ease of use, and overall awesome looks.
